Who We Are

Founded in 1914, Mechanical Devices began in Aurora, Illinois manufacturing a three-color inking attachment. Decades later we continue to be a family owned and operated business though we now include over 300 employees. Carol Kant is the CEO and President of the company, Linda Fillingham is CFO and Mark Sperry is Vice President of Engineering and Sales.

Our Quality, Cost and Delivery are the pillars that drive production at Mechanical Devices Company. At our core, it is our senior management team which sets us apart, by demonstrating and measuring optimum levels of efficiencies.

The company is WBENC and ISO 9001 certified which recognizes our dedication for establishing an optimum quality management system based on principles that assure a customer-focused approach to design, development, production, installation and servicing of orders.

We are known for quality products, customer satisfaction, and environmental support. Our 250,000 sq/ft facility controls waste water, filtering coolants, packaging waste and uses trap oil as fuel for heating and recycling. We’re dedicated to continuing our company’s rich history while also investing in a sustainable future.
