Our Facility

Mechanical Devices Company Facility

In 1989, Mechanical Devices Company moved from its original 6,000 square foot site in Bloomington to its present location on 20 acres of property at 2005 G. E. Road. The company’s facilities presently encompass 250,000 square feet, including the plant IMG_9142floor, employee lunch room, a training classroom, the gage and tool rooms, the quality department and inspection lab, the engineering department, offices, and locker rooms.

Environmental support measures are also taken by controlling waste water, filtering coolants, reusing VCI Packaging, and using trap oil as fuel for heating and recycling.

Mechanical Devices Company has a separate delivery and shipping building with five loading docks for shipping and receiving. Our Rough Cut Capacity Planning allows our logistics to be proactive driven by facts and data for absolute accuracy when packaging for export. Inventory accuracy, allows us to provide our customers with just in time shipping whether orders require one or one-hundred pieces.
